06.05.07 Updates...
Hey everyone... Just a little update, since we haven't posted anything here for a bit. There are a couple of updates, however.

If you didn't already follow everything with the Spike TV Bracket Babes, Lauren placed extremely well but unfortunately didn't make it all the way. Apparently our geek power just wasn't strong enough. I've removed the pictures and everything from the main page because it was taking up a ton of space and making load time a little long.

In other news, if you're at all interested in Operating Systems, Pitt Geeks is currently working on an operating system, so get involved! You can find more information in the forum section by clicking: HERE.

Additionally, Brett and I are putting together a CS:Source team, so if you <3 CS feel free to post in the Gaming Chat forum and get involved. We have some extra team slots so let us know if you want in!

Thats all for now... Keep an eye out for upcoming LAN parties and other hot and juicy gossip in the forums.

03.30.07 24 Hour Coding Contest Update!
Update: The prizes have been ordered for the coding contest, and there is a lot of sweet stuff up for grabs, including flash drives, keyboards, geek toys, books, and more! The CS department is sponsoring some items as well, though I haven't had a chance to get my hands on them to see what they're providing.

The room has also been confirmed, and we will be holding the contest in room 5712 of Senott Square. There are 14 internet capable computers with most of the tools you should need to code. However if you would like to bring your own PC you are more than welcome. There will be no guarantee on interwebs though!

We need one more team too so if you know anyone that would like to participate, please tell them to sign up NOW!

See ya Friday!

01.12.07 .New Website
Yes... We finally did it. I'm not going to lie to you and tell you that it took this long because it was hard... I've just been really busy and I finally got some time, and after a few hours of constructing monotonous CSS, the final product has been formed. Its really late, and I'm sure there are some bugs with the website, so please post any comments and notes in the forum link below.

I hope to redo the forum colors as well, because I based them on an older site design and color scheme. Soon it will look more like what you are seeing now.

Let me know any of your comments on the new template via forum: clicky. Hope you like it!

Cheers,

Chris
